It’s been quite a while since anyone has posted on this site. We may get a series started around christmas break.

No idea which one but we finally have some ideas.

No, we’re not dead but we’re back to square one with our machinimas. Hopefully we will have something announced in 2010.

It’s been a long while since I last posted- Which was complete fail, in case you had somehow failed to notice-
Since then the pre-whatever has been done to an extent that we could start filming tomorrow. Just one little problem:

My capture card is not working downstairs on my big TV. Solution? Get a smaller but High-Definition TV up by my computer. This should work, but if it doesn’t that will suck and I’ll have to get the Dazzle DVC 80- Which costs money that could be used to but Adobe After Effects.

Scripts are done for the prologue/teaser/trailer/episode 0 thing, as you may have read in my failsome post in May. I am also done on Part 1 of Episode 1. It should be somewhat long.

For the series, Without A Sovereign, we are going for Quality over Quantity; meaning we will release episodes over longer periods than most machinimators, but we will try to make them as beautiful and cinematic as possible. One thing to remember though, is that we are all relative noobs when it comes to machinimating.

The character that I am to voice primarily has gone through some changes, mostly regarding his appearance and name. You will soon be able to check out the character BIOs on the Cast Pics page.

I have started expanding my network- making profiles on various networking sites in hopes of being hired as a voice actor for any machinima. I am working on a voice reel and will release it eventually.

Yes, yes, I know. I’ve said that before but note that I said that before the re-vamp.

Scripts are being redone so that the series is no longer a lame-ass comedy. Plus we have a better idea for a story.

YouTube Scam… Thing

Hey. If you haven’t already, read Digitalph33r’s latest blog entry at this adress:

It explains that a man named Mohammad Pabel Miah, is claiming copyright to videos that are obviously not his. Videos such as “Arby n’ the Cheif”, “How to be a gangster”, and “How to be emo”. I have never seen the “How to” series but I have seen alot of DigitalPh33r’s work, including “Showdown” (the episode taken down by Mohammad). The tracks were all purchased from Stockmusic.net.

Pat’s Speculations:

1. Mohammad is some form of an internet terrorist. (Semi-likely)
2. He is some kid trying to be cool or is just trying to entertain himself. Possibly using the name as a form of rascism. (Possibility)
3. He suffers from mental illness and actually think he owns the content. (Very unlikely)
4. He hates DigitalPh33r and is trying to run him off of YouTube. (Semi-likely)
5. He is actually DigitalPh33r trying to accomplish something. (Unlikely)

Personally I think it’s either 2 or 4. Comment below with your opinion. I will also start a poll both here and on the forums.

Now on to the tough stuff. Will this affect Three’s A Crowd? Damn, I hope not. If it does I know some other video hosting sites. The main issue with me is that this in un just. And what in the ever loving hell is YouTube doing about it? So far I haven’t heard them doing anything about it. This should be top priority dammit! This is friggin’ plagerism! After I finish this post I am going to look into this Mohammad Pabel Miah fellow. I’ve only read two forum posts about this scandel. And in layman’s terms: This is a big freaking deal! YouTube! What the hell is wrong with you? Pretty soon you’ll have to be called YouTubeAndThenSomeoneElseTakesCreditAndScrewsYouOverRealGood. Not a good rep, don’t you agree. Heh, I bet this post will be deleted. For, the wrath of Mohammad knows no bounds.

Good news outweighs the bad news…

Well, let’s start with the bad news. The graphic novel prologue is officially cancelled. But; I have aquired a special HD capture card and am able to start filming. Mix that up with Sony Vegas 8 Platinum, and you get a very badass turn of fate. And guess what. I got it all for FREE. No I didn’t steal it, Christmas… Wewtcakes.

We may eventually redo the prologue as a machinima. But it isn’t even near top priority. The expected release of the series may come sooner that expected. It all depends…

In other news, (Douche-tacular!) I am working on the forums a bit. Nothing noticable, but I am trying to change the little icon that appears on all of the tabs. So far, so good. I am also working on a logo for Three’s A Crowd, as well as new headers for both the blog and the forums. They should each get their own. I am going to upload the new wallpapers soon so keep cool until then. We may post our rehersals on B-Net and our fileshares, as well as Three’s A Crowd/Without A Sovereign screenshots and fight scenes. Prepare for bad-ass-ity (or whatever).

Prototype music- Coming Soon

Hey compadres and compodrettes, I have an announcement that I hope you will like. A few songs I made up and recorded with my headset mic (my old one) are going to be released. I know the quality will be crap but it will just give you an idea of what the songs will be like. I am working on hooking up my guitar to my sound card. Hasta la whever. It might be ready today . I will post a link on the sidebar to download it or something.
